The Spam Threshold allows you to set the sensitivity of the spam content rules. The spam system evaluates each message according to many rules and gives each message a spam score. You can set a higher threshold to allow more mail into your inbox, or a lower threshold to be more strict on what is allowed through.
1 is the lowest threshold for spam. This means any incoming email that is remotely suspicious will be moved to the spam folder. If this setting is selected, monitoring the spam folder often for legitimate email is recommended.
6 is the default threshold for spam. This setting takes into account known spammers and suspicious content and moves those messages into the spam folder. It is advisable to start here and lower or raise the threshold over time as needed.
10 is the highest threshold for spam. This setting will allow most incoming email into the Inbox. Use this setting to prevent any email from being filtered as spam.
Click the tool icon on the left-hand side to access the Spam Settings.
You may adjust your spam settings. We recommend using the default Spam Threshold of 6.
