Filter
Filters are great for organizing your emails. Create filters for things such as subject, from email, keywords and more to create rules to take actions for your filters.
Defining your filter criteria. There are 3 required Rule fields:
- From Field
- To Field
- Subject.
Select a rule for each filter drop down as seen in the image below. The dropdowns rule requires that you add a phrase as part of the rule. Next, select the Action that should be taken once all rules have been met. Select on of the following from the Action drop-down: inbox, mail sent, drafts, trash, spam, quarantine.
Filter Rules and Actions
White/Black
Whitelist and Blacklist settings let you specify email addresses or even entire email domains that you want to always allow delivery (Whitelist) or always move to spam automatically (Blacklist).
Spam Settings
Spam Settings allow you to set the sensitivity of the spam content rules. The spam system evaluates each message according to many rules and gives each message a spam score. You can set a higher threshold to allow more mail into your inbox, or a lower threshold to be more strict on what is allowed through.
Threshold 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest threshold for spam. We recommend 6 as your default spam threshold.
Forwarding/Auto Responder/POP
Mail Forwarding is a feature that lets you send all incoming email or a copy of all incoming email to another email address.
The Autoresponder is perfect for when you will be away from your computer for an extended period of time (e.g. while on a well-deserved Bora Bora vacation). When using Autoresponder, your incoming email will be delivered appropriately and senders will receive an automatic response of your choosing.
POP mail moves the message from the email server onto your local computer.
From Addresses
This is unique feature lets you send out emails from your account as if it is another email address. For instance, let's say you need to email someone but do not wish to use your actual email address. You can create a From Address to send an email. The From Address (Alias) will show as options from the email composer on the From field. See below for Alias settings.
Note: This is for a Premium Email accounts only.
