1. From the Home screen, tap Apps
2. Click Settings
3. Open the Email app and then Select Set up account
4. Enter your email address and password, click Manual setup
Tap Next.
5. Select the Incoming server type: IMAP (Recommended) or POP
6. Incoming server settings: IMAP
- IMAP Server: imap.company.com
- Username: Email address
- Password: Email password
- Security type: SSL
- Port number: 993
Incoming server settings: POP (only if not using IMAP)
- POP Server: pop.company.com
- Username: Email address
- Password: Email password
- Security type: SSL
- Port number: 995
Outgoing server settings
- Outgoing server: smtp.company.com
- Username: Email address
- Password: Email password
- Security type: SSL
- port number: 465
Tap Next
7. Your account will connect to the Outgoing server with the settings entered. if successful, you will go to the Account options screen.
Click Next
8. Enter Your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing messages.
Done...You are finished!
Note: This is the Samsung Galaxy. Each Android manufacturer has a slightly different menu system and setup, but the settings remain the same.
