Aliases
The email product includes an Alias feature where an account owner may create unlimited aliases without the need to add new email users. Aliases are simply a forwarding email address. For example, the alias email [email protected]'s incoming mail would be routed to the primary email account, [email protected]'s inbox. Aliases are commonly used to send to customer lists.
Creating an Alias
1. Select the tools icon on the left-hand side
2. Select the Alias Management tab. Create an Alias Name before the @ symbol. For example, sales@myflowershop.com. Next, click the + sign below the Alias Name to add the recipient's email addresses. Now click Update Alias.
Composing Alias emails
Emails sent from an alias will be delivered to the recipient's list (as seen above).
Emails sent to an alias will be routed to the alias' recipients.
From Alias Emails
This is unique feature lets you send out emails from your account as if it is another email address. For instance, let's say you need to email someone but do not wish to use your actual email address. You can create a From Address (alias) to send an email. The From Address (Alias) will show as options from the email composer on the From field. See below for Alias settings.
In the From Addresses tab create addresses by clicking the + symbol.
When composing an email select a Name in the From drop-down. Recipients will see the email [email protected] rather than [email protected].
Deleting an Alias
To delete an Alias, click on an alias address on the left-hand side and then click Delete Alias.
Note: The Alias feature is available in the Premium Bundle.
